Appliance deals include small items such as air fryers and blenders as well as major appliances that need delivery and installation. This page lists current appliance deals from the retailers we cover and explains what to check first.

Small vs major appliances: where the real savings are
For a small appliance, the main questions are features, capacity and the exact model. The total outlay is modest, so the model number and what is included usually matter more than chasing the lowest listed price.
A major appliance is a larger and longer-term purchase, so delivery, installation, haul-away and warranty terms can change the total cost and the experience as much as the price tag does.
Energy efficiency and ENERGY STAR considerations in Canada
Many major appliances sold in Canada carry an EnerGuide label showing estimated energy use, which helps you compare models. ENERGY STAR certification exists for some product types, such as certain refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers and clothes washers, but it does not cover every appliance.
Small countertop appliances such as air fryers and blenders are generally not part of that labelling, so compare their power ratings and capacity instead. Check the listing or the manufacturer's page for a label or certification rather than assuming one applies.
Delivery, haul-away and installation fees
Large appliances can involve delivery charges, scheduled delivery windows, installation and removal of your old unit. These can be included in the price or charged separately, so ask what the price covers.
Check requirements such as electrical, plumbing or gas connections, and whether the retailer will install the appliance, before you order.
Measure first: dimensions and cut-outs
Measure the space where the appliance will go, plus the doors, hallways and stairs it must pass through. Check the product dimensions and the clearance the manufacturer recommends around it.
For built-in or under-counter models, compare the cut-out dimensions in the specifications with your space.
Warranty and parts availability in Canada
Check the length and terms of the manufacturer's warranty and whether it applies to products sold in Canada. Ask how service is arranged and where repairs are done.
Some products are cheaper to replace than to repair, while others have long service lives. For larger purchases, availability of parts and service is worth a quick check.
Model numbers and retailer-exclusive variants
Manufacturers sometimes produce versions of a model for specific retailers, with differences in features, colour or accessories. The model number identifies exactly what you are buying.
Search the model number and compare it with the specifications in the listing before you compare prices across retailers.
Is it worth buying appliances on Black Friday in Canada?
It can be, particularly for a planned replacement, because major appliances are expensive and a sale can matter in real money. The total also depends on delivery, installation, haul-away of the old unit and the warranty, so compare those along with the price.
There is no single best time of year to buy an appliance in Canada. Measure your space, match the exact model number, and compare Black Friday offers with Boxing Week if you do not need the appliance right away.
How we choose the deals on this page
We include active deals in our Home & Kitchen category that are priced in Canadian dollars.
For this page we also look for product names that contain words such as air fryer, vacuum or blender, and we leave out titles that clearly describe accessories and parts such as replacement filters, bags, liners or covers. This keeps the list focused but can still miss an appliance whose title does not use one of those terms.
Deals are ordered using the information we have: a badge where one has been set, the discount where a retailer's regular price is listed, how recently we checked the deal, and then price.
Deals are added by us or imported from affiliate retailer feeds, and we show a last-checked time only where we have recorded one. We do not use price-history data and cannot promise that a listed price is the lowest available anywhere. Prices, availability and terms are set by retailers and can change.
